This is May month. Do you remember your child hood summer vacations?
The Annual exam vacation starting day is really a good day in life because of three reasons.
1. The leave days will be long, at least 45days.
2. There will be no boring things like preparing answers for question papers written in the annual exam (for half yearly and quarterly exams, we do). Enjoy the days to the fullest.
3. Going to move to the next standard which means I am growing. Did you enjoyed that feel?
While moving from 5th to 6th standard, there will be a change. You are going to change to full pant from half pant. Yes, I am a big boy now. The science subject will be divided to Physics, Chemistry, Biology. For that we will get record notes. We will just scribble something. That doesn't matter. Only thing is we became big boys and we are learning something new compared to the 5th std children :).
Watching television is a fun in those days. It is somthing that we do not get often. Those are days only Doordarshan is the only channel that rules television industry in India.
Hope you remember this. The TV day for me starts with this music.

Will continue till Surabhi(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnlFSc0ULG0) ends. Favourites include, Jungle Book(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9RVgTX55vo), Reporter, Thehtikaat, Captain Vyom, Mahabharat, Chitrahaar. Though we learnt Hindi in schools upto 8th std( courtesy: KVMHSS Perundurai :) ), it is Doordarshan, that helped me to understand Hindi.
10th std exams in memorable. For that summer vacation, I got a chess board to play in the leave, got a VCD player for rental and had a chance to see Titanic, the then hit film in that year.
Playing cricket in that hot summer is another fun. Mom will scold for playing cricket in heat, but, she will always put oil for hair by scolding. That is Mom. We will play test matches and league matches based on strength of the team. Ours is small cricket team. Small in the sense we had enough number of players, but we are all small boys :). Still we will go for league matches and win atleast one or two. Left playing cricket by June month, I joined 10th std. Still I remeber this because of a personal memory - not to share :).
Will continue if i get anything to share.

Remove old VS versions before installing new...
Hi,
I was trying to install the VisualStudio 2008 released last week. So, I was searching to remove the old VS versions that I have in my system and got this interesting links from Microsoft.
FYI.,
I am going to keep the VS2005 and going to install VS2008 above that. :)
Remove VS2003:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/824642/en-us
Remove VS2002:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320114
The uninstaller tool mentioned here (MSIZap.exe) can be downloaded from this link. You need not install the complete WinSDK in search for this.

Hope you are up and running.
Regards,
Nanda

Thoughts...
From Hindu web site:
Do not think of in one direction. Come out of the problem and think of a solution for that.

A step towards constant improvement.
I liked the idea behind this, working on short-term targets to achieve a long term goal. It has proved to be very effective.
Your game is inevitably a reflection of your attitude. I'd like to try and instil a psyche where we go out and fight in each game without thinking about factors that are beyond our control.
